Remove "Send To" from Windows Explorer.

"Customize the Windows Explorer context menu."

This registry tweak removes the "Send To" option from the context menu of Windows Explorer.

Caution:
Incorrectly editing the registry may render your system inoperable - requiring the re-installation of Windows.

Editing the Registry:

  1. Open the Registry Editor (RegEdit.exe).

  2. Open HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT to:

AllFilesystemObjects \ shellex \ ContextMenuHandlers \ Send To

  3. In the right pane of RegEdit, right-click on (Default) and select Modify from the drop-down menu.

  4. In the Edit String dialog box delete the value that is in the "Value Data" section.

  5. Click OK button.

  6. Exit the Registry Editor (RegEdit.exe).

The change to the registry is reflected immediately, therefore right-clicking on any file or folder within Windows Explorer will now not show the Send To option in the context menu.
